TwiST was inspired by people at Twitter Power System Blog. They have an excellent blog (IMHO) and I certainly encourage anyone who's into using Twitter to check into it, as well as follow the team there, Mr. James Rivers, Mr. Peter Francis, Mr. Stuart Laing.

In their blog post titled "How to Power Up Your Twitter Search Techniques" they identified a variety of ways to utilize official Twitter Search to give you the results you want & need. Our Twitter Search Tool (affectionally known as TwiST) will simplify the process of searching for you, so you don't have to memorize all these features, since there are quite a few.

This app has me extremely excited! In fact so much so, that I'm trying to avoid working on other commitments, because this is so much more fun and will be so cool to use. Typically I don't get excited about my own software to this degree, but I really like what TWiiNK will deliver.

What is TWiiNK? Well, it's like this, based on the famous expression and my origins from the land of Stalin & KGB (not proud of it, just stating the facts) - if I told you, then I'd have to find you and... well, let's not get all gruesome here ;) This will be cool, release 1 is well on its way, I'm just not quite ready for the public consumption yet. I promise it won't be abused, given, sold etc. to anyone, just used to send you back the invite once we're ready here. And that day is coming and soon (unless I get hit by a bus) :)
